Aren't you so sick and tired of listening to the same sentence over and over again from different people? "Health is a must! Health is more important than anything else! You have to be healthy!" Yes we know, we get it! While it is incredibly important to be healthy, it's even more important that it is done the right way. We know what you're probably thinking, "but I don't have hours upon hours to put into at the gym! I'm busy!" No worries, we've get your back. We've comprised a list of tips and suggestions to progress your health every single day without slaving away at the gym.

1) Plan your day

Planning the day ahead is a major key to getting and staying healthy. Think about the possibilities of working out in the office. Keep some light dumbbells or weights in your desk and use them for 2-5 minutes every couple of hours or so.

2) Take 5

On those days when you do find time to make it to a gym or a local park to run, be sure to take 5. What is take 5 you ask? For every 30 minutes of exercise be sure to take a 5 minute break. Take a deep breath. Drink some water. Stretch out, and then get back to work. This is a great way to avoid injury and make sure you aren't pushing yourself too hard.

3) Set Goals

Setting goals is important in every aspect of your life, especially when it comes to health and fitness. Make sure the goals you set are realistic and achievable. Think in a pace that is manageable! 

4) Think Positive

Mental health is just as important as physical health. Positive thinking is one of the best ways to keep yourself level-headed and feeling great. People who practice PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) are more likely to be successful and lead a happy life.

5) Find an Exercise That's Right for You!

Whether it be yoga, marathon running, crazy exercises or even a light walk, pick what is right for you! What is right for you neighbor or your cousin Billy probably isn't right for you. Don't expect to figure it out right away! Exercising is just like anything else, it takes time to perfect. Follow these tips and you might even grow to love your workouts!
