Hello March! We here at ShoeBrats have decided to start a new blog series where we post our favorite trends happening at the beginning of each month. March is a great month because the weather is getting nicer and dreams of a Spring getaway are dancing through everyone's minds. Read the list and follow our trend tips below and you'll be the most stylish friend in your group in no time!

1) Shimmering Eyeliner

The runways the past few weeks have been flooded with this trend. Shimmering eyeliner is a great and easy way to elevate your look! The best part about it is if you don't want to or simply can not afford to go out and buy a new eyeliner you can always use the eyeshadow palettes you have laying around at home. Use a thin makeup brush or a q-tip and dab the eyeshadow of your choice gently. Apply the eyeshadow around the top and bottom lining of your eyelids. If you have brown or hazel eyes, use golds, purples, and blue hues. If your eye color is lighter in shade like a green or blue, try using silvers and pinks. If you're feeling extra bold you can even create a slight colorful cat-eye! It's a fun trend to play with! Try mixing two or three of your favorite colors (like pictured above) and see what you can come up with! 

2) Personalized Denim Jackets

By now, you probably know that the 90's over-sized denim jacket trend is back and in full swing. All of the stars are rocking the look from Rihanna to Kim Kardashian. But have you thought about customizing your jacket to make it uniquely you? Maybe you have a favorite song quote or you're fiercely passionate about something! Heck, maybe you just want to put your social media handles on it! Whatever it is that you want your jacket to say, go for it! It's a great way to show off your DIY skills and own something that nobody else out there will ever have.

3) Transparent Boots

March can be a tricky month when it comes to the weather. Some places are as hot as a sauna while others are as cold and icy as a freezer. The clear boot trend gives you the best of both worlds! It allows you to show off your fierce new pedicure while still keeping you plenty warm and protected. Trust us when we say that nobody does this trend better than us at ShoeBrats! Yes you read that correctly, flower crowns are back in a big way. Take a hike with your besties and bring a basket with you. Pick unique, beautiful flowers you find and take them home with you and get to crafting up a stunning flower crown! Not much of an outdoorsy person? No worries! Head to your local craft store, they are sure to have tons of fake flowers. You can also add a bit of flare to your flower crown by adding rhinestones, lace, and anything else your heart desires! Just thinking about making a flower crown has us all ready and excited for festival season!
